This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Drive business impact by leveraging data-driven insights. Identify and capitalize on high-value opportunities to enhance product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth through advanced analytical and statistical methodologies.
• Lead experimentation and causal analysis initiatives. Design and implement rigorous A/B tests and causal inference studies to assess the impact of new product features, pricing strategies, and go-to-market efforts. Advocate for experimental rigor across various teams.
• Influence product and business strategy. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, marketing leaders, and senior stakeholders to translate complex business inquiries into structured analytical frameworks, delivering strategic recommendations.
• Provide comprehensive analytical solutions. Manage the entire lifecycle of analytical projects — from identifying opportunities and constructing models to deploying solutions and measuring their impact.
• Embrace an AI-first mindset. Design analytical approaches, suggest solutions, and enhance standards and throughput within the team by utilizing AI tools and contemporary analytical techniques.
• Contribute to best practices in decision science. Assist in defining standards for experimentation, modeling, and insight delivery that elevate analytical quality across the organization.
• Mentor and uplift colleagues. Guide data scientists and analysts by showcasing best practices in methodology, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Communicate insights effectively. Convert complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• 5–7 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related discipline, demonstrating a history of delivering impactful, cross-functional insights.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, causal inference, and experimental design (A/B testing).
• Extensive familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Glean) to enhance throughput and analytical quality.
• Strong skills in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Proficient in Python or R for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
• Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Fivetran).
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, capable of translating complex analyses into clear, strategic narratives.
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end data science initiatives from problem definition to deployment and measurement.
• Experience in SaaS, product analytics, or EdTech environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.
