This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the liaison and subject matter expert for Deal Desk and sales quote processes, which include creating quotes, managing special pricing, obtaining approvals, verifying master agreements, and conducting system training.
• Collaborate with the sales team on the sales quote process, contract policies and procedures, deal approvals, and training on the system.
• Generate quotes for additional sales and confirm master agreements in Salesforce, ensuring rates, contractual discounts, and pricing are accurate.
• Collect deal requirements and assist sales teams in product offerings and implementation solutions to ensure customer success.
• Support sales in product and service offerings, and assess proposals for alignment with client requirements.
• Ensure that deals are structured and processed effectively in accordance with internal policies and product offerings.
• Confirm that licenses, implementation, training, payment terms, and revenue recognition impacts are correctly reflected in proposals and contracts.
• Investigate and resolve challenges in the sales process by collaborating with colleagues and leadership.
• Provide reports and analyses on sales volume, trends, closing times, and contract terms.
• Collaborate with legal to validate contract and payment terms, and work with finance and accounting to assess the impact on revenue recognition.
• Review deal progression to enhance deal cycle times and contract execution for both standard and non-standard agreements.
• Oversee contract approvals and assist sales with order processes to ensure quotes are advanced through the system promptly.
• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and experience that meets the necessary qualifications.
• Over 6 years of experience in finance, sales operations support, deal desk, contracts and quotes, or a related field.
• Familiarity with pricing models and terms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite at an advanced level.
• Experience with Salesforce (CRM) and Big Machines.
• Understanding of legal, accounting, and sales operations theories and principles.
• Knowledge of contractual language related to products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, time management, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Capability to organize and interpret data, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and multitask while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
