Senior Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Ensure the SQL Server infrastructure maintains high availability and reliability.

• Engage in the follow-the-sun support model.

• Design and implement new database infrastructure solutions.

• Apply necessary updates and patches to uphold a secure and compliant environment.

• Guarantee compliance with backup and recovery policies.

• Document existing legacy processes to enhance clarity and efficiency.

• Mentor junior DBAs to improve their technical expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in highly available SQL Server environments, both virtual and physical.

• Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive tasks utilizing PowerShell or similar scripting tools.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• Microsoft certifications are advantageous.

• Experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus.

• Development background to ensure effective communication with developers.
