This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Enhance systems: Configure, install, and maintain database management systems for optimal performance.
• Establish security measures: Oversee user access and enforce policies to safeguard data.
• Perform capacity planning based on usage to guarantee scalability.
• Coordinate systematic database project strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
• Recommend and implement improvements for performance and reliability.
• Create backup and recovery strategies to secure the system.
• Assist end users and application developers in resolving intricate database-related issues.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management.
• Familiarity with VMware ESXi.
• Knowledge of public/private cloud management, particularly migration from on-premises to cloud.
• Experience in automation, particularly in IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service).
• Proficiency in vulnerability management.
• Experience with on-premises AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) alongside Microsoft Active Directory (AD), and/or Azure AD.
