Senior Data Visualization Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance semantic data models in Tableau to facilitate self-service analytics and enterprise-level reporting.

• Build, manage, and optimize Tableau dashboards, reports, and datasets, ensuring precision, user-friendliness, and performance.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to outline and validate data pipelines in Databricks, ensuring smooth integration with BI models.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams and stakeholders to convert business needs into scalable BI solutions.

• Lead the transition strategy from Looker to Databricks + Tableau, ensuring minimal disruption and high user adoption.

• Apply best practices in data governance, performance enhancement, and security for BI assets.

• Maintain the quality and integrity of data utilized for decision-making processes.

• Detect and address data and dashboard performance challenges.

• Familiarity with Looker for data visualization, reporting, and analytics is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience in creating dashboards using Tableau.

• Comprehensive experience in Data Visualization.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and handling large datasets.

• Solid understanding of Dimensional Data Modeling.

• Awareness of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration tools.

• Capable of analyzing and interpreting complex data to produce clear and comprehensible reports.

• Proficiency in English is essential.
