Senior Data Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Directs the strategy and implementation of data architecture, steering cross-functional teams, consultants, and partners towards the delivery of cohesive and sustainable data solutions.

• Facilitates the incorporation of new data sources into the enterprise data platform by overseeing multidisciplinary implementation teams.

• Develops internal capabilities in the areas of data architecture, integration, and governance.

• Manages both operational governance and the execution of special projects related to data systems, platforms, and pipelines.

• Contributes to the formulation and execution of NAH's enterprise data and analytics strategy.

• Works in partnership with senior executives and business stakeholders to create data architectures that align with organizational goals.

• Assesses and recommends new platforms, data tools, and infrastructure strategies, including cloud-native and hybrid models.

• Maintains extensive knowledge of healthcare data warehousing, cloud platforms, and architectural best practices.

• Advocates for Data Stewardship by collaborating with data owners and subject matter experts to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and governance.

• Advances organizational maturity in data literacy, integration, and analytics enablement.

• Responsible for promptly reporting any safety-related incidents using the Midas/RDE tool; participates in all safety-related training programs; performs work safely; monitors the work environment for potential safety concerns and ensures compliance among others.

• Remains up-to-date and adheres to state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies affecting the employee's responsibilities.

• If necessary for the role, ensures all certifications and/or licenses remain current and valid before expiration dates.

• Completes all mandatory company modules and required job-specific training within the designated time frame.

• High School Diploma or GED with 15+ years of relevant experience – Required

• OR Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience – Required

• Master's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience – Preferred

• Relevant certifications focused on data platforms, cloud architecture, data engineering, or Oracle data technologies – Preferred

• Six Sigma/Lean certification – Preferred

• Proven expertise in OLTP and OLAP database modeling and data architecture techniques – Required

• Established history of designing and implementing strategic system roadmaps while integrating emerging data technologies – Required

• Extensive experience in the healthcare sector, including electronic health records, interoperability, HIPAA/data security, and master data management – Required

• Experience in matrixed organizations, demonstrating cross-functional collaboration and/or leadership capabilities – Required

• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, Oracle FDI, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and other Oracle data tools – Highly Preferred

• Experience in cloud-based and hybrid data engineering environments – Highly Preferred

• Experience in designing and integrating data systems through APIs – Highly Preferred

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and enterprise data stewardship programs – Preferred

• Experience with HL7 and a willingness to cross-train on OIC integrations and other technologies - Preferred
