Senior Data Scientist – Topic Analytics, GenAI, Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation of AI-driven Topic Analytics solutions utilizing Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Large Language Models.

• Architect, build, and assess model-based capabilities for topic discovery, classification, clustering, and summarization.

• Integrate deterministic rule-based topics with ML/LLM-generated topics to enhance coverage, flexibility, and precision.

• Develop scalable NLP and GenAI pipelines to handle substantial volumes of customer experience and conversational data.

• Create experimentation frameworks to assess and enhance topic quality, relevance, and business impact.

• Facilitate an increase in Topic Analytics throughput and assist in onboarding larger enterprise clients.

• Contribute to research and advancements in Generative AI, NLP, Topic Analytics, and Customer Experience Intelligence.

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, and Analytics teams spread across Mexico, India, and South America.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or NLP.

• More than 4 years of practical experience in constructing and deploying production-grade ML models.

• Proficient programming skills in Python.

• Familiarity with Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch or TensorFlow, SpaCy, LangChain or LangGraph, and PySpark.

• In-depth understanding of Natural Language Processing, Text Classification, Topic Modeling, Clustering Algorithms, Embeddings and Semantic Search, Statistical Analysis, and Experimentation.

• Experience with Large Language Models, encompassing prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, and optimization.

• Background in Customer Experience Analytics, Voice of Customer, Survey Analytics, or Contact Centre Analytics.

• Strong grasp of modern GenAI architectures, including RAG, vector search, and agent-based workflows.

• Experience with Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Databricks, or MLflow.

• Proven track record in building highly scalable analytics platforms and data pipelines.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience in enterprise SaaS product development settings.
