Senior Data Scientist – Real Estate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement sophisticated predictive models for lead scoring, agent matching, pricing, time-on-market estimation, and conversion probability.

• Create production-ready RAG and GraphRAG pipelines, build intricate knowledge graphs involving listings, agents, and clients, and design retrieval and ranking systems for unstructured data.

• Write efficient data transformations in Databricks (utilizing SQL and PySpark) and craft high-performance SQL queries for ClickHouse and PostgreSQL.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deploy model and LLM outputs into production settings, often using Inngest.

• Examine MLS data to identify actionable market trends and directly inform data-driven product features.

• Design and evaluate product experiments using PostHog, while creating detailed dashboards and analyses in Hex and Metabase.

• Serve as a strategic partner by converting ambiguous business inquiries into concise, actionable, and data-driven recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data science or applied machine learning within a product-driven organization.

• Outstanding SQL skills, with required experience in PostgreSQL (ClickHouse experience is a significant advantage).

• Strong practical Python knowledge, particularly with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.

• Proven track record of applying fundamental ML concepts, including regression, classification, forecasting, and clustering, to real-world challenges.

• Demonstrated success in building and deploying RAG or LLM-powered workflows in a live production environment, moving beyond basic prototypes.

• Robust background in A/B testing design, execution, and statistical analysis.

• Practical experience with contemporary notebook or BI platforms (e.g., Hex, Metabase, Mode) and product analytics tools (e.g., PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel).

• Excellent communication abilities with a proven capacity to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
