Senior Data Scientist – Operations & Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with Rula's Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) products and operations, along with customer support through analytics.

• Collaborate with teams in Product, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Billing, Data, and Customer Experience.

• Investigate intricate account inquiries and identify root causes.

• Transform disorganized data into clear, actionable insights.

• Analyze metrics, trends, and experiments to enhance the EHR platform.

• Review billing workflows to pinpoint breakdowns.

• Aid teams in improving accuracy, minimizing friction, and fostering sustainable growth.

• Convert financial and operational data into well-informed business insights.

• Contribute as an individual contributor within the Analytics department.

• Ensure a reliable and trustworthy experience for patients, therapists, and insurance providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant professional experience in analytics or data science-oriented roles.

• More than 2 years of experience focused on financial analytics and/or firm-level operations analysis.

• Proven ability to engage with non-technical cross-functional stakeholders.

• Extensive experience directly involved in A/B testing, encompassing experiment design, execution, and results analysis.

• Profound knowledge of financial metrics such as CAC, billing, key accounts, retention, churn, and LTV.

• Understanding of operational metrics, including resolution time and product uptime.

• Experience in translating data into practical insights.

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or SQL for predictive analytics modeling.

• Practical experience with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Hex.

• Must reside in the United States; Rula is not currently hiring in Hawaii.

• Preferred: experience in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment.

• Preferred: expertise in proposing and implementing operational efficiency experiments.

• Preferred: previous experience in healthcare, marketplace, or financial services operations.

• Preferred: capability to connect analytics insights to business strategy and influence financial and operational decisions.
