Senior Data Scientist – Meals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee data science efforts for the Meals initiative and take charge of scaling data science systems and infrastructure post-MVP.

• Develop, construct, and uphold frameworks for tracking metrics related to engagement, activation, and reactivation.

• Lead the experimentation strategy, from defining hypotheses to conducting analysis and presenting recommendations.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to derive strategic insights driven by data.

• Contribute to defining success metrics for a significant 0→1 initiative at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in consumer-focused product data science, working closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Data Engineers.

• Strong expertise in product and data analysis, A/B testing, causal inference, and statistical modeling.

• Experience in establishing KPIs and optimizing funnels to achieve product-market fit.

• Exceptional communication skills when engaging with senior business and engineering stakeholders.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data science or a comparable field.

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
