Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create data-driven algorithms for the Fingerprint Identification Service utilizing machine learning techniques on raw, noisy, and unlabeled data from browsers and devices.

• Spearhead supervised, semi-supervised, and unsupervised learning methods to enhance identification capabilities.

• Manage data science projects from inception and experimentation to deployment within the real-time platform.

• Design experiments and solutions for automating real-time model inference and training pipelines.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to address ad-hoc questions and identify anomalous data.

• Provide tools and effective strategies to foster an engineering-oriented, data-driven culture.

• Engage in a shared on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in machine learning, data science, and backend development.

• Strong foundation in machine learning and statistical methods.

• Extensive experience with supervised learning, including gradient boosting and managing high-cardinality categorical data.

• Hands-on experience with semi-supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.

• Proficient in exploratory data analysis, dataset collection, and performance assessment without labeled data.

• Significant expertise in the development of real-time ML services, including real-time inference and model-to-service integration.

• Capability to convert ML models into MVP real-time web services.

• Excellent programming skills, including SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, IDEs, and shell scripting.

• Proficient in English for effective communication in a global, remote team.

• Must have authorization to work from their home location.

• Preferred: academic background and research-oriented mindset.

• Preferred: backend development experience with Go.

• Preferred: familiarity with ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, Apache Superset, Tableau, Looker, Pinecone, FAISS, Qdrant, and embedding-based search systems.
