This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.
• Take ownership of how Hostaway determines its development priorities and validate the impact of product changes.
• Establish product measurement standards, encompassing definitions of active and adopting customers as well as analysis segmentation.
• Integrate measurement into product planning, which includes estimating sizes, anticipated metric impacts, and measurement strategies in product requirement documents.
• Create measurement strategies for scenarios where clean A/B tests are not feasible.
• Articulate measurement for AI-driven products where activity metrics may not provide the complete picture.
• Present quantitative data to support product investment decisions.
• Enhance metrics literacy so that product managers can bring their own data insights to reviews.
• Establish technical standards for tracking plans, instrumentation specifications, and data quality assurance.
• Develop the product analytics function, beginning with hiring a skilled product analyst.
• Execute SQL queries and conduct analyses directly.
• Provide mentorship to other analysts.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on data models, pipelines, warehouses, and architectural solutions.
• Maintain a dotted-line relationship with the CTO.
• Report directly to the Chief Product Officer.
• Over 8 years of experience in product analytics, preferably within a scaling B2B SaaS environment.
• Strong foundational knowledge in data and the capability to design robust data models alongside Data Engineering.
• Proven experience in establishing consistent event tracking across various features and domains.
• Familiarity with SQLMesh is a plus.
• Extensive experience with AI tools and an understanding of their benefits and limitations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership with evidence-based analyses.
• Experience in guiding organizations from intuition-based to data-driven decision-making.
• Background in building analytics operating models from scratch.
• Capacity to develop business models that can withstand scrutiny from finance leaders.
• Skill in designing equitable comparisons in complex B2B products and transparently communicating analytical constraints.
• Hands-on experience with SQL querying and analysis development.
• Must reside within the EMEA region.
• Preferred: experience in measuring AI features, automated workflows, or API usage; product-led growth strategies; churn modeling; multi-user-type platform businesses; and knowledge of travel, hospitality, or property technology.
