📋 Description

• Take charge of the analytics and experimentation strategy concerning pacing, targeting, and associated optimization areas.

• Develop and implement intelligent pacing algorithms and budget allocation systems utilizing adaptive control and model-predictive control techniques.

• Oversee comprehensive experimentation throughout optimization systems.

• Analyze complex or conflicting signals and convert results into actionable recommendations for Product and Engineering leadership.

• Utilize causal inference, statistical modeling, and machine learning to enhance ad-spend distribution.

• Harmonize user experience, advertiser objectives, and platform revenue.

• Communicate findings and strategic advice to leadership in Product, Engineering, and Data Science.

• Act as a thought leader and technical expert in Ads Optimization.

• Guide and mentor team peers.

• Collaborate with Ads Product and Sales teams to collect advertiser feedback and shape priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in ads optimization within an ad tech company, with practical involvement in pacing, targeting, budget allocation, or similar systems.

• Solid foundation in product and data analysis, A/B experimentation, causal inference, and statistical modeling.

• Experience in deploying optimization systems into production and refining them in live environments.

• Outstanding communication skills for distilling complex technical results for senior business and engineering stakeholders.

• 6+ years of professional experience in data science or a related field.

• Preferred: experience working with ads product or sales teams, or directly with advertisers.

• Preferred: knowledge of budget-constrained allocation methods, adaptive control, or model-predictive control in production systems.
