Senior Data Scientist – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of attribution for a specific risk category: identify key targets, develop algorithms (including heuristics, machine learning models, and AI agents), and deploy them to production.

• Work closely with stakeholders and establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert for your category, converting customer and go-to-market requirements into executable insights.

• Explore all levels of intelligence (Network / On-chain / Protocol) to discover patterns that competitors cannot mimic.

• Deliver production-quality code — including heuristics, ML models, and data pipelines — while ensuring thorough evaluation and scalable architecture.

• Achieve quantifiable results: billions in illicit funds identified, seized, or prevented.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong quantitative background (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Physics).

• A robust problem-solving mindset: able to identify root causes, utilize creativity, and excel in uncertain situations with a hypothesis-driven and iterative methodology.

• Proven curiosity in the domain — capable of assimilating and applying knowledge in blockchain, fraud, money laundering, or cybercrime.

• Over 6 years of experience in an analytical capacity, with proficiency in SQL, Python, and AI-assisted coding tools (such as Cursor and Claude Code).

• Familiarity with distributed data systems (like Spark, BigQuery, Airflow) and experience in deploying production code.

• Effective asynchronous communication skills (using tools like Loom, Slack, Notion) and the capability to manage tasks independently in a remote setting.

• Bonus: Extensive experience in machine learning, previous involvement in crypto, financial crime, or within financial institutions.
