This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and sustain predictive models to anticipate member demand, healthcare utilization, and provider network capacity.
• Formulate extensive analytical frameworks and convert data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance and scale forecasting methodologies in alignment with company growth.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the data collected and collaborate with data engineers to create efficient data pipelines and integrate relevant data sources.
• Fulfill time-sensitive, ad-hoc data requests for both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• A minimum of 5 years of data analysis experience in an industry context, particularly in business forecasting, time series data, and collaboration with business/operations teams.
• Proven knowledge of statistical applications and methods (experimentation, probabilities, regression), with experience in hypothesis testing in either an industry or research environment.
• Preferred candidates will have graduate-level coursework in Statistics, with an MS in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, econometrics, biostatistics, or quantitative social sciences.
• Proficient in Python, including data cleaning and analysis, as well as using Python to parse JSON structured data, call APIs, develop user-defined functions, and automate processes.
• Experience in translating stakeholder requests into pertinent data research inquiries and conducting thorough analyses using diverse and irregular data sources.
• Possess an end-to-end ownership mentality: capable of managing all aspects of a data project, from data cleaning to analysis/modeling to dashboarding/reporting.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience writing complex queries across multiple schemas and tables; preference for candidates who have created views.
• Proficient in Tableau or similar dashboarding tools.
• Exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of collaborating across various functions.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and deliver urgent ad-hoc analyses requested by leadership.
• An interest in public health is an added advantage.
