Senior Data Scientist – BlackLocus Division

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead a team in creating analytical infrastructure and computational capabilities.

• Design predictive systems and algorithms aimed at identifying trends and delivering business solutions.

• Drive data analytics and predictive modeling on extensive datasets to extract valuable business insights using statistical and machine learning techniques.

• Provide guidance on work prioritization, ensure the quality of work outputs, and enhance the competencies of direct reports.

• Establish scalable and efficient processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, and implementation.

• Tackle problems creatively with strategic insights.

• Utilize data to construct a compelling business case for optimizing pricing strategies.

• Stay updated on advancements in data science and machine learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years old.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience in data mining, data analysis, and predictive modeling.

• Prior work experience in business intelligence and data analytics.

• Documented experience in applying statistical techniques to uncover key insights from data to resolve business challenges.

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Advanced knowledge in handling vast datasets, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.

• Capability to develop scalable systems that analyze large datasets and provide actionable recommendations.

• Excellent communication and data presentation abilities.

• Quick adaptability to new technologies, tools, and techniques.

• Flexible and responsive; able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic decision-making environment and meet tight deadlines.
