This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams to address strategic product inquiries through detailed reporting, analysis, in-depth investigations, and predictive or prescriptive modeling.
• Anticipate business results and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing product performance.
• Establish, maintain, and refine key product metrics, dashboards, and monitoring systems utilized to evaluate product performance and its impact on business.
• Implement machine learning techniques to analyze customer behavior, engagement, retention, churn, propensity scoring, segmentation, recommendation systems, and personalization efforts.
• Assess product launches, feature modifications, and AI-driven initiatives by measuring results against success criteria and providing clear recommendations.
• Assist in designing experimentation and measurement strategies, including hypothesis formulation, test summaries, and post-launch assessments where relevant.
• Create scalable models, reporting frameworks, and self-service analytics tools that enhance decision-making speed and consistency across the product organization.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to enhance data quality, instrumentation, metric definitions, and the dependability of reporting pipelines.
• Convert complex insights into succinct narratives, presentations, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Aid AI data initiatives by assisting in model development, evaluation, feature measurement, and the creation of analytics frameworks that evaluate customer and business impact.
• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in data science, product analytics, decision science, or a closely related analytics position supporting product teams.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Expertise in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, predictive modeling, and data exploration.
• Experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn, and other machine learning frameworks for model development, evaluation, and deployment.
• Knowledge of feature engineering, model selection, cross-validation, hyperparameter tuning, and performance assessment.
• Background in developing dashboards and visualizations that facilitate executive reporting and day-to-day product decision-making.
• Strong grasp of product metrics, experimentation, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis.
• Experience handling large, complex, and multi-source datasets to derive actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical findings in accessible language and influencing stakeholders through data.
• Experience in supporting AI or ML-related product initiatives, model evaluations, or measurement frameworks is preferred.
• Background in media, ad tech, mar tech, digital subscriptions, marketplaces, or other product-driven businesses is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud data environments and best practices in product instrumentation is preferred.
• Experience operating in highly cross-functional settings where priorities can shift rapidly, and decision support is essential is preferred.
