Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement scalable machine learning models for production environments.

• Create advanced analytics and predictive models utilizing Python, SQL, and well-known ML/DL frameworks (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Utilize Databricks, Apache Spark, and Hadoop for extensive data processing and model training.

• Establish workflows and pipelines using Airflow and AWS EMR for automation and orchestration.

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to integrate models into cloud-based applications on AWS.

• Enhance query performance, storage efficiency, and data pipeline operations.

• Execute end-to-end experiments encompassing data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment.

• Lead initiatives independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Keep informed about industry best practices in machine learning, big data, and cloud-native deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Data Science or Applied Machine Learning.

• Strong skills in **Python, SQL, and ML libraries** (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Demonstrated proficiency in deploying ML models into production systems.

• Experience with **big data platforms** (Hadoop, Spark) and distributed data processing.

• Practical experience with **Databricks, Airflow, and AWS EMR**.

• In-depth knowledge of **AWS cloud services** (S3, Lambda, SageMaker, EC2, etc.).

• Comprehensive understanding of query optimization, storage systems, and data pipelines.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of designing scalable solutions.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
