Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the analytical function from start to finish for a growing embedded business unit focused on product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships.

• Identify business challenges, clarify the decisions that each analysis will support, and question any flawed inquiries.

• Establish metrics, create reports, conduct analyses, design experiments, and extract actionable data insights.

• Provide recommendations to teams in product, growth, finance, and operations.

• Articulate what is occurring and the reasons behind it, while suggesting subsequent actions.

• Propel analytical insights and decisions through to execution to enhance key business metrics.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders in the business unit and influence decisions at the leadership level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, or rapidly growing technology company.

• Excellent analytical capabilities.

• Proficient in independently extracting, structuring, and interpreting data.

• Proven history of managing ambiguous problems and delivering significant results.

• Strong communication skills that are clear and persuasive, with the ability to influence decisions at the leadership level.

• Proficient in SQL or Python.

• Ability to formulate hypotheses and utilize first-principles problem-solving techniques.

• Familiarity with SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub.

• Must currently reside in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.
