Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical design and development of Generative AI solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) on Azure AI Foundry, from initial discovery to production.

• Create and manage AI Agents with Azure AI Foundry Agent Service and Copilot Studio, including the implementation of multi-agent architectures.

• Develop enterprise copilots and assistants using Copilot Studio, integrating connectors, plugins, and actions with business systems.

• Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures utilizing Azure AI Search, embeddings, and grounding in corporate knowledge.

• Establish LLMOps standards within Azure AI Foundry and Prompt Flow, covering versioning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring of models and prompts.

• Ensure the observability, security, and governance of solutions by applying Responsible AI principles along with Azure AI Content Safety.

• Conduct technical reviews and provide mentorship to Mid-Level and Junior Engineers, acting as the technical authority within the discipline.

• Convert business requirements into AI and copilot use cases while participating in architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in AI engineering or the development of AI-driven solutions, including a focus on technical leadership.

• Advanced expertise in Python for AI solutions and API integrations.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Strong experience with Azure AI Foundry, particularly its model catalog, Prompt Flow, evaluation, and deployment processes.

• Familiarity with Copilot Studio for constructing enterprise copilots and agents.

• Experience in developing and orchestrating AI Agents, including multi-agent architectures.

• Knowledge of RAG architectures, including Azure AI Search, embeddings, vector search, and grounding techniques.

• Understanding of LLMOps for the industrialization of AI solutions in enterprise settings.

• Excellent technical communication and mentoring capabilities.

• Microsoft certifications (AI-102 Azure AI Engineer Associate or AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert) — a plus.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric Data Agents — a plus.

• Experience with Semantic Kernel or equivalent frameworks — a plus.

• Comprehensive understanding of Responsible AI, security, and governance — a plus.

• Background in the financial sector or regulated environments — a plus.

• Proficiency in English for collaboration in a global setting — a plus.
