Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product and operational analytics throughout the platform, including metrics related to retention, cohort behavior, funnel performance, and user engagement.

• Establish and uphold key company metrics, ensuring consistent interpretation across teams.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to accurately implement new features and evaluate their effectiveness.

• Conduct analyses that address open-ended operational inquiries.

• Convert findings into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.

• Explore data anomalies and investigate their root causes.

• Create and maintain dashboards, models, and data hygiene practices to facilitate repeatable analysis.

• Work in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, and the executive team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science or analytics.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

• Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning abilities.

• Proven expertise in product or operational analytics, including retention analysis, cohort analysis, and funnel and engagement measurement.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.

• Capability to independently tackle ambiguous questions and define analyses.

• Outstanding communication and storytelling skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Experience in healthcare, digital health, or similar regulated data environments is preferred.

• Background in building analytics infrastructure from an early stage is a plus.

• Requirement to have the camera on during meetings.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada currently.

• Should not require a visa now or in the future to continue working in the United States or Canada.
