Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute exploratory and advanced statistical analyses to inform strategic product and business choices.

• Create and implement experimentation strategies (A/B Testing, hypothesis tests, experimental design) to validate assumptions and assess the impact of initiatives.

• Utilize causal inference techniques, probabilistic modeling, trend analysis, seasonality, and anomaly detection.

• Design, train, and scale Machine Learning models within production environments.

• Assess, integrate, and monitor LLMs (Large Language Models) and GenAI models within enterprise applications.

• Establish experimentation pipelines and manage model versioning utilizing Azure and Databricks platforms.

• Convert digital event data into user behavior models and actionable product metrics.

• Construct analytical frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making across various organizational levels.

• Discover patterns, opportunities, and risks through the analysis of extensive corporate data sets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, technology, business) to define and implement data-driven strategies.

• Clearly and concisely communicate results and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, focusing on decision-making.

• Document methodologies, assumptions, and recommendations to promote reproducibility and analytical transparency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated extensive experience as a Senior Data Scientist.

• Advanced expertise in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.

• Practical experience in exploring, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets in enterprise environments.

• In-depth knowledge of GenAI and LLMs, including their evaluation, integration, and monitoring.

• Strong foundation in statistics: hypothesis testing, causal inference, probabilistic modeling, experimental design, A/B Testing, trend analysis, seasonality, and anomaly detection.

• Practical experience with Azure and Databricks platforms for distributed processing and model experimentation.

• Familiarity with code versioning (Git) and best practices for collaborative development.

• Robust analytical skills with the capability to transform business challenges into actionable data solutions.

• Investigative mindset: formulates hypotheses, challenges assumptions, and validates conclusions with analytical precision.

• Ability to independently conduct end-to-end analyses with minimal oversight, coupled with strategic thinking and executive-level synthesis skills.
