This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and sustain methods for identifying fraud.
• Relay analytical outcomes to pertinent stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity, completeness, and consistency through cleaning processes.
• Create repeatable procedures for the efficient analysis of large datasets.
• Collaborate closely with criminal investigators to establish suitable analytical strategies.
• Develop and uphold both unsupervised and supervised models, which include regression, Bayesian, clustering, and ensemble algorithms.
• Execute and fine-tune testing models to ascertain the optimal fit.
• Offer data analytics support for criminal investigations involving financial fraud or misuse of funds.
• Convey methodologies and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through oral presentations and written reports/visualizations.
• A minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced AI systems and predictive models, including both supervised and unsupervised models.
• A minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in developing analytic rules and models utilizing cutting-edge analytic tools and best practices.
• A minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in creating regression, classification, and other statistical models to detect anomalies, patterns, and predictive variables.
• At least three (3) years of practical experience in providing data support for criminal investigations into financial fraud or misuse of government resources.
• At least three (3) years of practical experience in data manipulation using Python, with a strong emphasis on Pandas.
• At least three (3) years of practical experience in a modern cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• At least two (2) years of practical experience in conducting advanced data analysis using SQL, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• At least two (2) years of practical experience in developing and scaling NLP solutions.
• At least two (2) years of practical experience in presenting methods and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through oral and written communication.
• A Master's, Ph.D., or doctorate-level equivalent degree in data science, machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline, or a total of 10 years of applicable work experience in these areas.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP-100), Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), AWS Machine Learning Certification, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or similar cloud-based AI/ML certifications.
