Senior Data Scientist – AI Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop sustainable solutions for our clients through data analysis, machine learning, and generative AI methodologies.

• Conduct cost-benefit evaluations to assess the value of projects and aid in estimating the return on investment for implemented analytical and AI solutions.

• Discover new data sources—both internal and external, structured and unstructured—and assess their potential value as inputs for AI, ML, and analytical products.

• Collaborate with data engineers to create analytical and model training datasets, and work alongside ML ops engineers to implement solutions operationally.

• Share solution outcomes with the Data, Analytics, and Technology team, as well as with business partners throughout the organization; convert technical efforts into business results.

• Oversee and maintain solutions post-deployment; identify chances to enhance the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required.

• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and methodologies.

• Act as a thought partner, contributing to or supporting the business problem-solving process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory.

• Over 5 years of experience in a Data Science, Applied AI, or Applied R&D position.

• Practical experience in developing solutions utilizing large language models.

• Solid background in statistics, classical machine learning, and experimentation.

• Proficient knowledge of Python and/or R.

• Strong understanding of SQL.

• Practical experience with version control systems such as git is beneficial but not essential.

• Capability to collaborate with engineers to operationalize assets in a production environment.

• Ability to create analytical and AI-driven web applications using tools like Streamlit, R Shiny, and/or PowerBI, etc.

• Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is highly preferred.
