Senior Data Engineer, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and take charge of the architecture and implementation of scalable ETL pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric.

• Facilitate the efficient and automated integration of diverse data sources, including MySQL databases and APIs.

• Advance the architecture of the data warehouse and modify data models and structures to meet evolving requirements.

• Create robust processes for data modeling, ingestion, and production.

• Maintain high standards of data quality, security, and reliability.

• Ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality throughout the entire data pipeline.

• Proactively track trends and technological advancements in the field of data engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Profound knowledge of designing and executing modern ETL pipelines.

• Experience with automation tools including Azure Logic Apps, n8n, or Make.

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or Microsoft Data Factory, Apache Spark, and notebooks.

• Extensive expertise in MySQL.

• Practical experience with a variety of databases and data warehousing solutions.

• Eagerness to enhance skills in Power BI.

• Proficient in German.

• Excellent command of English.
