Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to pinpoint data-driven initiatives and opportunities.

• Work alongside data engineers to develop data pipelines and address related challenges.

• Create dbt models utilizing SQL.

• Oversee Airflow tasks and manage scheduling.

• Provide assistance to team members regarding data challenges in analysis and modeling.

• Conduct analyses and deliver clear recommendations to business stakeholders.

• Supervise team analysis to ensure accuracy and insightful findings.

• Aid in the implementation and adoption of a data exploration tool across the organization.

• Support the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of data engineers.

• Mentor colleagues.

• Perform additional duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline.

• At least 4+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.

• Proficient with BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Python, and relational databases.

• Demonstrated success in building and optimizing data transformation pipelines.

• Experience managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Familiarity with data exploration tools like Looker or Mode.
