Senior Consultant – Data Platforms, Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide technical solutions utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Implement solutions through Microsoft Power BI and associated technologies.

• Utilize data warehouses, data marts, and data models for business, financial, and operational analysis and reporting.

• Create high-performing, dependable, and scalable solutions.

• Convey technical information to business and management teams.

• Conduct data analysis to support and improve Information Management systems.

• Write, supervise, and secure approval for project design documents.

• Generate reports, dashboards, scorecards, data exploration, and visual analytics.

• Design and develop solutions independently or in collaboration with others.

• Support the business development team with pre-sales efforts and RFPs.

• Offer feedback and mentorship to team members.

• Lead and showcase emerging technologies and concepts to teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience with proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Databricks, Data Lake, Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure OpenAI.

• In-depth knowledge of Data Management, Business Intelligence, and Analytics concepts.

• Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.

• Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, data marts, data stores, and cubes.

• Understanding of data quality and profiling techniques.

• Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and metadata management practices.

• Proficient in data visualization, dashboards, reporting, self-service BI, KPIs, and scorecards.

• Expertise in predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive analytics.

• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, including Power BI, Excel, and SQL Server (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS).

• Ability to grasp new concepts and software, along with a passion for learning new technologies.

• Familiarity with database-centric applications.

• Strong communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts.
