This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Strategically plan, oversee, and implement releases across all environments, from development through to production.

• Recognize technical and functional interdependencies among various tracks.

• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders across different programs.

• Evaluate application code and documentation, and carry out pre and post-deployment tasks.

• Establish release processes for new data engineering applications.

• Relay change management updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Execute release packages, deployment guides, and command-line instructions in production environments.

• Support project timelines, set and manage expectations, and adapt priorities as needed.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of client needs, including data conversion and migration, environment management, build processes, deployment planning and execution, solution designs, systems integrations, technical architectures, and infrastructure architectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Execute deployment scripts and follow step-by-step instructions in both test and production environments.

• Proficient with Command Line Interfaces.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, Git branching, packaging, and DevOps pipelines.

• Practical knowledge of data warehousing and reporting technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Python, Spark, PySpark, Airflow, MicroStrategy, and Tableau.
