Senior Data Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee one or multiple client engagements or workstreams, ensuring that delivery aligns with scope, timelines, budget, quality, and business goals.

• Direct project teams by setting priorities, deliverables, accountability, and execution strategies.

• Organize workshops for strategy, roadmap planning, solution design, and executive decision-making.

• Evaluate business challenges, formulate recommendations, and guide decision-making for clients.

• Convert business needs into feasible, scalable, and value-oriented technical solutions.

• Manage project scope, financials, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure quality of delivery.

• Provide updates on status, risks, recommendations, and executive briefings.

• Review and validate client deliverables for quality and adherence to AHEAD standards.

• Engage in discovery, qualification of opportunities, solution development, proposals, and client presentations.

• Identify opportunities for expansion and assist in account growth.

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with business, technology, and executive stakeholders.

• Contribute to consulting methodologies, delivery frameworks, reusable assets, and best practices.

• Keep abreast of advancements in data, AI, cloud, governance, analytics, and emerging technologies.

• Mentor and coach team members.

• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, knowledge sharing, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Take ownership of delivery outcomes, financial performance, and client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical field.

• Generally, 8–10+ years of experience in delivering enterprise data, analytics, AI, cloud, or digital transformation projects.

• At least five years of consulting or professional services experience managing complex client engagements.

• Proven experience leading project teams, multiple workstreams, or enterprise initiatives with minimal supervision.

• Experience in delivering modern data platform solutions, including data engineering, cloud platforms, governance, analytics, AI, or enterprise architecture.

• Competence in managing project scope, financials, delivery governance, stakeholder communications, and executive presentations.

• Strong skills in leadership, consulting, communication, facilitation, analysis, and relationship management.

• Proven track record of ownership, business insight, executive presence, and the ability to mentor and develop others.

• Preferred: Master's degree or MBA.

• Preferred: Professional certifications in cloud platforms, AI, data management, Agile methodologies, project management, or enterprise architecture.

• Preferred: Familiarity with technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or similar.
