This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Configures the Origami platform to align with client specifications
• Develops integrations
• Designs and constructs data conversion mappings while addressing exceptions
• Implements and sets up Origami's standard data conversions and creates custom Excel data conversions utilizing tools within the Origami Admin UI
• Constructs and evaluates data conversion packages (using Microsoft SSIS), data conversion scripts, control balancing, data exceptions, and data cleanup
• Works collaboratively with operations to create and uphold documentation for data conversion best practices, training materials, and a library of standard update packages
• If applicable, in collaboration with shared services, maintains relationships with Data and other Technical resources at TPA and Carrier IT organizations, reviewing and applying updates to Origami packages to accommodate new versions of TPA and Carrier software
• Conducts unit testing on assigned deliverables
• Plans and facilitates working sessions, both internally and externally
• Coordinates data conversion activities, which may include mapping, testing, balancing, and cleanup, in collaboration with clients and third parties
• Trains project team members to enhance productivity and quality
• Recognizes potential scope creep or out-of-scope tasks and escalates these issues to the Project Manager
• Utilizes Origami's standard configurations where feasible and adheres to established best practices and industry standards during the design, configuration, and consultation on solutions
• Identifies potential opportunities for expanded sales and communicates with the account management team regarding these pursuits
• Logs hours worked in compliance with Origami's time entry policy
• Serves as a mentor to less experienced colleagues at Origami
• Aids in the training and onboarding of new Origami team members
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• Over 6 years of prior experience as a data consultant
• Preferred experience in JavaScript, XML, and SQL
• Familiarity with ETL tools preferred (e.g., Visual Studio)
• Strong communication and presentation abilities required
• Experience in the insurance industry preferred
