Senior Data Architect – 3 month project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the existing data architecture to identify critical risks, limitations, and areas for enhancement

• Establish a scalable target-state data architecture

• Create an architecture capable of supporting ongoing growth through new subsidiaries

• Address architectural dependencies and remove existing single points of failure

• Define and enhance data quality standards along with data modeling practices

• Assess cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architecture alternatives

• Design data warehouse solutions and broader data platform architectures

• Assist in data governance initiatives from an architectural viewpoint

• Define and facilitate REST API-based integrations

• Collaborate with data environments based on Microsoft SQL Server

• Perform the initial architecture assessment during the project's first phase

• Aid in implementation and testing activities throughout the delivery phase

• Work closely with both technical and business stakeholders during the architecture and implementation lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience at a senior level in Data Architecture

• Proficiency in French at a C1 level or higher

• Comprehensive understanding of Data Governance principles

• Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server

• Demonstrated ability in designing and integrating REST APIs

• Solid background in Data Warehousing and Data Platform Design

• Experience in assessing and designing cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architectures

• In-depth knowledge of Data Quality management and Data Modeling

• Capability to evaluate existing data environments and establish scalable target-state architectures

• Experience in supporting implementation and testing of architectural solutions

• Strong analytical abilities and skill in translating business growth requirements into sustainable technical architecture
