Senior Data & Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Complete responsibility for the data platform and BI layer.

• Play a role in achieving a zero-waste future by minimizing food waste and emissions.

• Transform vendor-developed BI solutions into a contemporary data platform.

• Design and manage scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architecture.

• Develop and sustain customer-oriented dashboards and embedded analytics.

• Establish standards, data contracts, and architectural principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering focused on customer-facing BI products.

• Background in SaaS or product-oriented environments.

• Extensive experience with Databricks (Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or the Azure data stack.

• Proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization).

• Advanced skills in SQL and dimensional modeling.

• Experience with CI/CD practices for data pipelines and BI assets.

• Professional working proficiency in English at a C1 level or equivalent.

• Legally authorized to work full-time in Europe.
