Senior Data Analyst, BigQuery – Health & Wellness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to gain insights into business inquiries.

• Provide timely analyses and uncover opportunities for enhancements driven by data.

• Create and manage both ad-hoc and regular reports using Looker.

• Develop and track essential business metrics.

• Actively identify trends and areas needing performance improvement.

• Construct, refine, and document scalable LookML models.

• Examine dashboards and data sources to pinpoint opportunities for consolidation.

• Investigate and rectify data inconsistencies.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering to enhance data pipelines and ensure reporting accuracy.

• Create and sustain models that predict business outcomes, customer behaviors, and other critical metrics.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of SoulCycle's entire data ecosystem.

• Help shape the methods by which the business evaluates performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.

• Proficient in advanced SQL.

• Practical knowledge of Google BigQuery, including skills in query optimization, schema design, and GCP.

• Significant experience with Looker and LookML for data modeling, dashboard creation, and report automation.

• Experience with predictive modeling, encompassing regression and forecasting techniques.

• Expertise in designing metrics.

• Effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Familiarity with tools such as Python, pandas, matplotlib, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, and AWS is preferred.

• Background in consumer technology, fitness, subscription-based business, or retail/hospitality is a plus.

• Experience with predictive modeling, Python, AI-driven analytics workflows, Tableau, or Jupyter Notebooks is also a plus.

• Candidates must reside in Latin America.
