Senior Data Analyst, BigQuery – Health & Wellness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to gain insights into business inquiries.

• Provide timely analyses and highlight opportunities for data-driven enhancements.

• Create and manage both ad-hoc and recurring reports using Looker.

• Develop and track essential business metrics.

• Proactively recognize trends and performance discrepancies.

• Construct, enhance, and document scalable LookML models.

• Review existing dashboards and data sources to pinpoint consolidation opportunities.

• Identify and rectify data inconsistencies.

• Work alongside Data Engineering to refine data pipelines and ensure accurate reporting.

• Create and sustain predictive models that forecast business outcomes, customer behavior, and other vital metrics.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of SoulCycle's complete data ecosystem.

• Contribute to the evolution of performance measurement within the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Practical expertise in Google BigQuery, covering query optimization, schema design, and GCP.

• Strong background with Looker and LookML for data modeling, dashboard creation, and report automation.

• Preferred experience with Python, pandas, matplotlib, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, and AWS.

• Experience in predictive modeling, including regression analysis and forecasting.

• Proficient in metrics design.

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

• Familiarity with consumer technology, fitness, subscription-based businesses, or retail/hospitality is advantageous.

• Exposure to customer churn forecasting and AI-driven analytics processes is a plus.

• Familiarity with alternative visualization tools like Tableau or Jupyter Notebooks is a bonus.

• Must currently reside in Latin America.
