Senior Data Analyst, BigQuery – Health & Wellness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to grasp business inquiries.

• Provide timely analyses and highlight opportunities for data-driven enhancements.

• Create and sustain both ad-hoc and recurring reports in Looker.

• Develop and oversee key business performance metrics.

• Recognize trends and identify performance gaps.

• Construct, refine, and document scalable LookML models.

• Review dashboards and data sources to find consolidation opportunities.

• Identify and resolve data discrepancies.

• Work alongside Data Engineering to enhance data pipelines and ensure reporting accuracy.

• Create and maintain predictive models that forecast business outcomes, customer behavior, and other significant metrics.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of SoulCycle's entire data landscape.

• Play a role in evolving the methods by which the business evaluates performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Practical expertise in Google BigQuery, including query optimization, schema design, and GCP.

• Extensive experience with Looker and LookML for data modeling, dashboard creation, and report automation.

• Knowledge in predictive modeling, such as regression and forecasting.

• Skills in metrics design.

• Strong communication abilities for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

• Experience in the fitness industry, consumer technology, subscription-based businesses, or retail/hospitality is a plus.

• Familiarity with Python, pandas, matplotlib, AI-driven analytics workflows, Tableau, or Jupyter Notebooks is advantageous.

• Candidates must currently reside in Latin America.
