Senior Data Analyst, BigQuery – Health & Wellness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to grasp business inquiries

• Provide timely analysis and highlight opportunities for data-driven enhancements

• Create and maintain both ad-hoc and recurring reports in Looker

• Develop and track essential business metrics

• Actively recognize trends and performance deficiencies

• Construct, refine, and document scalable LookML models

• Review dashboards and data sources to uncover consolidation possibilities

• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies

• Work with Data Engineering to enhance data pipelines and ensure reporting accuracy

• Create and sustain models that predict business outcomes, customer behavior, and other critical metrics

• Gain a thorough understanding of SoulCycle's data environment

• Assist in transforming how the business assesses performance

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering

• Advanced proficiency in SQL

• Practical knowledge of Google BigQuery, including query optimization, schema design, and GCP

• Strong background in Looker and LookML for data modeling, dashboard creation, and report automation

• Experience in predictive modeling, such as regression and forecasting

• Skills in metrics design

• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders

• Preferred: Familiarity with Python (pandas, matplotlib), Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, and AWS

• Nice to have: Background in consumer technology, fitness, subscription-based businesses, or retail/hospitality

• Nice to have: Experience with predictive modeling, Python, AI-driven analytics workflows, Tableau, or Jupyter Notebooks
