Senior Data Analyst, BigQuery – Health & Wellness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to gain insights into business inquiries.

• Provide timely analyses and highlight opportunities for data-driven enhancements.

• Create and manage both ad-hoc and recurring reports using Looker.

• Establish and track essential business metrics.

• Detect trends and identify performance discrepancies.

• Construct, enhance, and document scalable LookML data models.

• Review dashboards and data sources for potential consolidation.

• Identify and rectify data inconsistencies.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering to enhance data pipelines and ensure reporting accuracy.

• Create and maintain predictive models to forecast business outcomes, customer behaviors, and key metrics.

• Gain in-depth knowledge of the client's entire data ecosystem.

• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the business's performance measurement strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.

• Proficiency in advanced SQL.

• Practical experience with Google BigQuery, including query optimization, schema design, and GCP.

• Strong background with Looker and LookML for data modeling, dashboard creation, and report automation.

• Experience in predictive modeling, including regression and forecasting techniques.

• Expertise in metrics design.

• Effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Python, pandas, matplotlib, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, and AWS.

• Nice to have: Experience in consumer technology, fitness, subscription-based companies, or the retail/hospitality sector.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with AI-driven analytics processes.

• Candidates should currently reside in Latin America.
