Senior Data Analyst / BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement production dashboards and interactive reporting solutions utilizing Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

• Write, maintain, and optimize intricate, high-performance SQL queries, window functions, and CTEs to extract and transform extensive datasets.

• Collaborate with business teams to establish KPIs, convert complex requirements into technical solutions, and provide actionable insights.

• Query, validate, and analyze enterprise data stored across Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and various other cloud data platforms.

• Independently oversee analytical tasks during active Agile delivery sprints.

• Ensure a high level of data accuracy and cross-functional alignment.

• Work in partnership with distributed engineering and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst in a corporate environment.

• Proficient in crafting complex, high-performing SQL queries, including window functions, aggregations, and CTEs.

• Demonstrated experience in developing production dashboards using Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise cloud data warehouses and analytical platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.

• Strong analytical capabilities and experience collaborating with business teams to deliver actionable insights.

• Minimum of 6-hour overlap with US Central Time (CT) business hours during a standard 8-hour workday.

• Proficiency in English for interviews, technical documentation, daily team syncs, and operational communications.

• Experience with Python or R for exploratory data analysis, data manipulation, and automation scripts (preferable).

• Familiarity with AWS or other enterprise cloud infrastructure environments (preferable).

• Practical knowledge of dimensional data modeling and ETL/ELT data pipeline architectures (preferable).
