Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product, Commercial, and Business stakeholders to address complex business challenges through data, transforming vague inquiries into structured analytical methodologies and actionable insights.

• Develop, define, and uphold business KPIs, ensuring consistency in metrics, data integrity, and alignment across various teams and regions.

• Analyze extensive datasets using SQL and Python to uncover trends, diagnose business challenges, assess opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.

• Create and maintain scalable analytical solutions, which include semantic models, Power BI dashboards, and self-service reporting options.

• Conduct thorough investigations, root cause analyses, and impact assessments for product launches, commercial initiatives, and operational performance evaluations.

• Design and assess experiments, quantify business impacts, and provide data-driven recommendations grounded in statistical evidence.

• Utilize AI tools such as LLMs, code assistants, and AI-driven analytics solutions to expedite data exploration, automate repetitive analyses, enhance documentation, and boost productivity while maintaining analytical precision.

• Convert analytical insights into compelling narratives that effectively convey business impact and engage both technical and executive audiences.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering to enhance data quality, validate data pipelines, and establish dependable reporting foundations.

• Provide mentorship to analysts through technical guidance, analytical problem resolution, code reviews, and effective stakeholder communication.

• Work with global teams to promote alignment, standardization, and knowledge sharing across different regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or another quantitative field.

• Proficient SQL skills, encompassing complex joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and large-scale analytical transformations.

• Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including semantic modeling, DAX, visualization design, and performance enhancements.

• Strong Python capabilities for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation purposes.

• Experience in handling large analytical datasets and converting business inquiries into scalable analytical solutions.

• Solid grasp of statistics, experimentation, and hypothesis-driven analysis techniques.

• Familiarity with employing AI tools to enhance analytical workflows, coding efficiency, documentation, or insight generation.

• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and user-centric dashboard design principles.

• Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate intricate analyses into straightforward business recommendations.

• Proficient English communication skills.
