Senior Cybersecurity SOC Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee client walkthroughs to comprehend business requirements and document control environments.

• Recognize gaps in control design or operational effectiveness, vulnerabilities, and audit discrepancies.

• Execute SOC readiness and attestation engagements.

• Provide actionable recommendations for client management.

• Organize projects and drive superior execution, quality assurance, oversight, budget management, and delivery expectations.

• Create workpapers and assist in drafting reports for attestation and certification engagements.

• Foster productive client relationships and uphold a strong client-service orientation.

• Collaborate with various clients and compliance frameworks while managing competing priorities.

• Lead, mentor, support, and communicate with offshore resources.

• Share insights with colleagues on innovative approaches, execution strategies, and compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Accounting.

• Over 2 years of pertinent experience conducting SOC audits or consulting externally/leading internally on controls implementation or attestation services related to SOC, ISO, Internal Audit ITGCs, and/or HITRUST certifications.

• A relevant professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), ISO 27001/42001 Lead Auditor, or HITRUST CCFSP.

• Strong capabilities in client service and relationship management.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary, not expected to exceed 25%.
