This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.
• Enhance PerkinElmer sales by upholding a high standard and professional image while showcasing the value of customer support.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Customer Service Department through adaptable, efficient, and collaborative teamwork.
• Provide support for ICP, ICPMS, GC/LC chromatography, and related analytical product lines within the designated region.
• Execute field service and routine maintenance utilizing available systems in collaboration with the Regional Group Leader.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, installation, and validation of instruments and their accessories.
• Deliver onsite user training for specified product groups.
• Conduct service for PerkinElmer’s overseas offices and international customer locations when necessary.
• Ensure that service documentation, circuit diagrams, bulletins, and manuals are up-to-date and appropriate for instrument servicing.
• Maintain supporting documentation in alignment with the Quality Management System.
• Align operational practices with departmental performance objectives and demonstrate compliance with team goals.
• Manage service spares and maintain inventory records.
• Report and address discrepancies promptly and effectively.
• Ensure that tools and testing equipment are sufficient and calibrated as required.
• Submit completed service documentation, reports, timesheets, expense claims, and vehicle log sheets on a weekly basis.
• Undertake specific tasks as outlined in company Goal statements when requested.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar Field Service role or related field.
• Valid full clean driving license.
• Professional communication skills with customers and colleagues across all levels.
• Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
• Strong negotiating and influencing abilities.
• Understanding of exceptional customer service principles.
• Capability to service ICP, ICPMS, GC/LC chromatography, and related analytical instruments.
