Senior Customer Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver services to clients.

• Operate on intricate project scopes with minimal guidance from Customer/SI appointed representatives to complete assigned duties.

• Assist in the design of specific deliverables and support the deployment of Rocket products.

• Aid in the implementation of new solutions under the supervision of Delivery Architects.

• Utilize and contribute to technical forums within the Rocket Enterprise Suite environment.

• Leverage personal subject matter expertise to address a variety of common technical challenges.

• Apply independent judgment within established practices and procedures to determine suitable actions.

• Report project status and risks to the project technical lead and PM.

• Use technical expertise to provide customers with sound technical advice.

• Assess whether a change is a product defect or enhancement before informing the customer.

• Work collaboratively as part of a team while fostering positive relationships with team members and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of pertinent technical experience.

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, along with a confident telephone demeanor.

• Proactive mindset with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

• Experience in complex IT project implementations, customizations, and/or maintenance.

• Must possess an analytical mindset to evaluate test results and facilitate defect resolution.

• Organized and methodical, adept at managing multiple tasks.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Required experience with Rocket Enterprise Server and Enterprise Developer.

• Technical skills should include two or more of the following: IBM Enterprise COBOL or PLI programming experience, system-level experience with IBM CICS, IMS, and JCL, relational databases such as IBM DB2/UDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Windows OS, Linux/UNIX OS, and knowledge of major cloud provider infrastructures and technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Foundry, Docker, or Kubernetes.
