Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Sales Teams and potential clients on evaluating and implementing Algolia solutions.

• Comprehend customer objectives and determine how Algolia’s offerings can fulfill those requirements.

• Support the Sales process, which includes technical discovery, product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC), and responding to RFPs.

• Utilize the tools, frameworks, and partners within the Algolia ecosystem to assess technical and functional compatibility.

• Advocate for customer interests, needs, and product feedback to communicate effectively with the Product and Engineering teams.

• Engage in continuous learning to enhance skills and stay informed about industry trends in the Search and Discovery domain, contributing to thought leadership to enhance Algolia's global accessibility.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition to the post-sales process, leading to successful onboarding experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in a customer-facing technical position (SE, SA, consultant, PM), preferably within the SaaS sector.

• Prior software development experience in one or more areas, including Front End: JavaScript, TypeScript, React; Back-End: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C.

• Familiarity with data formats and data transformation processes.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple customers while swiftly adapting to various demands and maintaining attention to detail.

• Passionate about resolving customer challenges.

• Experience in a high-growth environment, particularly in the $150-300M+ ARR range, with a focus on change and developing internal infrastructure.
