Enterprise Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct technical discovery calls to identify a prospect's identity infrastructure, highlighting gaps in on-prem, cloud, SaaS, and custom application coverage.

• Provide customized, impactful product demonstrations that illustrate how Oak's identity graph integrates access reviews, JIT requests, and lifecycle management for individuals, non-human entities, and AI agents.

• Create and implement Proofs of Value (POVs) for prospective clients.

• Manage technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and security questionnaires.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to formulate the technical strategy for each opportunity and resolve any deal impediments.

• Relay technical feedback from prospects and customers to the Product and Engineering teams to enhance Oak's development roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer within a cybersecurity or identity-focused organization (IAM, IGA, PAM, or related fields).

• Proficient understanding of IAM/IGA concepts such as Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML), access reviews, RBAC/ABAC, Segregation of Duties (SoD), SCIM, SAML/OAuth.

• Comfortable conducting live technical demonstrations and POVs before both technical and executive audiences.

• Skilled at translating intricate technical concepts into business risks and return on investment (ROI) for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and compliance stakeholders.

• Strong sense of ownership - adept at working independently in a dynamic startup environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, including responding to RFPs and security questionnaires.

• Practical experience with identity governance platforms.
