This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take ownership of intricate integration and AI agent implementations from initiation to go-live and subsequent enhancements, acting as the main technical contact for 2–4 enterprise accounts.
• Create integration architectures with a focus on error handling, retry logic, observability, failure recovery, and multi-system authentication.
• Develop and implement agentic AI workflows that streamline supply chain operations, from requirements gathering to production, including regression testing and validation prior to customer deployment.
• Execute live AI agent workflows in the presence of customers, configuring and troubleshooting during customer calls rather than collecting requirements for future implementation.
• Independently conduct customer discovery sessions, addressing business challenges and proposing technically credible, innovative solutions on the spot without the need for instant messaging or management support.
• Leverage Claude, OpenAI, and other LLMs throughout the entire workflow, capturing requirements, designing integrations, generating integration specifications, writing code, testing, and deployment; LLM-assisted work is expected at each phase, not just at the keyboard.
• Represent FourKites from a technical standpoint during presales engagements, clearly articulating integration architecture, agentic workflow capabilities, and platform extensibility to potential enterprise clients alongside the Solutions and Sales teams.
• Participate in scoping and strategic customer calls with the SCA team to address the most complex technical and product inquiries, arriving with a perspective rather than just answers.
• Conduct code reviews on integration and AI workflow projects from FDEs, ensuring adherence to quality standards before deployment.
• Mentor FDEs by collaborating on challenging problems, regularly reviewing their work, and taking responsibility for their professional growth.
• Identify reusable integration patterns and AI workflow templates, formalizing them for the team's library.
• Accurately scope and estimate project effort levels, holding yourself accountable to those estimates.
• Work closely with Implementation Managers, Customer Success Managers, Solutions Consultants, Product Managers, and Engineering to ensure seamless customer outcomes.
• 5–8 years of software engineering experience, with significant expertise in integration engineering, system design, or a customer-facing technical role — the complexity and ownership of your work is what counts.
• Strong proficiency in Java (mandatory) and one or more of the following: Python or Ruby — capable of writing clean, production-quality code with test coverage, clear design rationale, and standards that other engineers can follow.
• Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms — designs systems that function efficiently at scale, understands complexity trade-offs under pressure, and makes appropriate architectural decisions for high-throughput, low-latency integration scenarios.
• Strong software design skills — architects integration and AI workflow systems that are modular, resilient, observable, and designed for evolution; can articulate the design, justify trade-offs, and create diagrams that are clear to others.
• Writes optimized code rapidly — transforms customer problems from discovery to deployed solutions faster than conventional development cycles; the ability to shorten the build cycle without sacrificing quality enables customers to accelerate their operations.
• An innovative problem solver — brings true creativity to challenging integration and AI workflow issues; discovers approaches that are technically sound, elegant, and often non-obvious; complexity enhances your thinking rather than impedes it.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and their application across complex, multi-system environments — understands when to apply which approach and can articulate the trade-offs involved.
• Practical experience in designing and deploying agentic AI workflows end-to-end using LangGraph or similar tools — not merely configuring templates, but architecting systems.
• Utilizes Claude, OpenAI, or similar LLMs throughout the entire workflow — including requirements documentation, integration design, specification generation, code creation, testing, and deployment; views LLMs as an essential engineering capability, not just a productivity tool.
• Demonstrated ability to independently conduct technical discovery sessions with enterprise clients and translate vague business requirements into precise technical specifications.
• Comfortable deploying agentic workflows live during customer calls — adept at handling configuration, troubleshooting, and addressing edge cases in real-time.
• Strong SQL proficiency — able to write queries to investigate customer data issues and validate integration outcomes.
• Medical benefits commence on the first day of employment.
• 36 PTO days (including Sick, Casual, and Earned), plus 5 recharge days and 2 volunteer days.
• Home office setups and technology reimbursement provided.
• Lifestyle and family benefits available.
• Mental wellness support and guidance offered.
• Ongoing opportunities for learning and development (including a professional development program, Toastmasters club, etc.).
