This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• The SAP Payroll Implementation Consultant is integrated into the Application Services department and works under the guidance of a Cluster Lead, holding overall responsibility for supporting our outsourced clients in the following ways:
• Engage directly with customers to gather their requirements.
• Lead the implementation of Payroll projects through various phases.
• Offer application support and consultancy for implementation through advice, guidance, and relevant technical activities.
• Create easy-to-maintain, error-free implementations and customizations while adhering to Strada best practices.
• Conduct necessary system tests using either supplied or self-created test data to ensure that applications and developments align with agreed specifications.
• Produce documentation (both functional and technical) for implemented work packages.
• Manage personal daily tasks while aligning with project priorities to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Regularly communicate status updates and progress to the Team/Project Manager.
• Maintain appropriate levels of internal and external communication and contact.
• Report on the status, resolutions, and root causes of assigned issues.
• Have a solid understanding of general HR workflows and the SAP HR architecture.
• Adhere to project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of assigned work package implementations.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a Business or Technical focus, or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in implementing SAP HCM applications.
• Participation in 3 or more Swiss project rollouts.
• A strong interest in providing high-quality support and implementation in the Human Resource domain.
• Service-oriented with a strong client focus and a sense of accountability.
• Commitment to the customer, the team, and the project.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and respect confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Swiss payroll practices.
• Proficiency in the German language.
• Additional languages such as Italian or French are considered a plus.
