This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Take ownership and enhance the Braze setup, which includes Canvases, journeys, segmentation, Liquid, connected content, API-triggered campaigns, and webhooks.
• Create lifecycle automation strategies for onboarding, converting free users to paid, retention, and win-back initiatives.
• Develop self-optimizing journeys and ascertain which decisions should be made autonomously by the system.
• Leverage BrazeAI Intelligence and Predictive suites for optimal timing, channel and variant selection, churn prediction, and event forecasting.
• Assess AI functionalities to identify areas where they can provide value.
• Utilize AI tools to generate and modify copy and creative variants, create localized versions, and automate quality assurance.
• Construct reusable CRM components, templates, naming conventions, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the Data team on event design, model outputs, audience synchronization, and accurate reporting.
• Conduct ongoing A/B, multivariate, and holdout-group experiments.
• Apply insights from experiments to enhance future customer journeys.
• Manage copy, rendering, links, deliverability, error handling, consent, and privacy compliance.
• Provide reports on CRM's impact on conversion and retention, along with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Stay updated on trends in lifecycle marketing and AI-assisted CRM, suggesting innovations to adopt or discontinue.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle, or marketing automation.
• Direct experience managing a marketing automation platform, particularly Braze.
• Familiarity with Braze Canvas, Liquid, connected content, API campaigns, and catalogs.
• Proven track record with automation and AI within a CRM environment.
• Experience in predictive audiences, AI-assisted content and variant creation, automated quality assurance or localization, self-optimizing journeys, or LLM-based workflows linked to a CRM stack.
• Proficient with data and possess hands-on SQL skills.
• Capable of designing necessary events and critically analyzing model outputs.
• Experience with warehouse-driven CRM systems like Databricks, Hightouch, or similar is highly advantageous.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email applications.
• Technical proficiency with APIs, SDKs, and integrations.
• A test-and-learn approach, including a healthy skepticism regarding results.
• Understanding of consent, data privacy, and deliverability standards.
• Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into tangible outcomes.
• Fluency in English is required; certifications are not mandatory.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills, particularly in asynchronous, long-form formats.
• Demonstrates curiosity, playfulness, confidence, and a willingness to express opinions.
