Senior Credit Manager – US Core

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the continuous enhancement and refinement of credit models and underwriting policies for the Cash Advance sector.

• Collaborate on the creation and assessment of new product frameworks and pricing strategies.

• Employ thorough credit analysis to support product experimentation through a test-and-learn approach.

• Connect new product experiences with quantitative credit policies, transforming ideas into tested, scalable strategies.

• Convert complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

• Influence decision-making and establish credibility without the necessity of formal authority.

• Work alongside data science, product, marketing, and credit and risk teams.

• Define and organize ambiguous analytical inquiries.

• Propel initiatives forward with a sense of urgency and independent judgment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

• 5–7 years of experience in credit risk, data analytics, or a similar quantitative area.

• Experience preferably in consumer lending or fintech.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey analytical insights to executive-level audiences.

• Capability to influence results and cultivate trust with senior stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues without formal reporting lines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity.

• Proven track record of advancing projects autonomously.

• Creative and action-oriented mindset involving prototyping, testing, and iteration.

• Willingness to learn new tools and methods, staying informed on credit, lending, and AI developments.
