• Evaluate and oversee intricate and high-value delinquent accounts.
• Directly engage with customers to rectify payment discrepancies and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Make daily decisions concerning order holds or releases based on credit limits and payment status.
• Identify and escalate potential write-offs to management.
• Collaborate with Sales and other internal stakeholders to address account issues.
• Communicate negotiated solutions effectively.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to leadership.
• Interact with customers to offer customized solutions that address cash flow challenges.
• Suggest and escalate alternative payment options when necessary.
• Support strategic customers and help expand market segments.
• Develop and execute strategies to ensure accounts remain current after resolution.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Generally requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
• Experience in corporate credit and collections.
• Strong grasp of finance principles and practices.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks across various systems while adhering to deadlines.
• Previous negotiation experience.
