This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Evaluate client financial data to determine borrowing capacity.
• Perform comprehensive servicing and affordability calculations.
• Review income, liabilities, living expenses, assets, and overall financial status.
• Assess PAYG, self-employed, and intricate income structures.
• Examine payslips, bank statements, tax returns, and financial documents.
• Calculate and validate income per lender specifications.
• Detect servicing, policy, and credit issues promptly.
• Analyze LVRs, deposit requirements, and additional lending metrics.
• Conduct scenario assessments across various lenders and loan frameworks.
• Research lender policies and evaluate lending options.
• Assist brokers in structuring residential and investment lending scenarios.
• Create recommendations and supporting analyses for broker review.
• Provide ongoing support to brokers throughout the application process.
• Prepare applications and necessary documentation.
• Ensure client files are complete, precise, and compliant.
• Address lender inquiries, outstanding conditions, and application progress.
• Monitor applications until approval and settlement when necessary.
• Maintain client and application records in Connective Mercury/Mercury Nexus.
• Oversee application stages, notes, tasks, and documentation.
• Communicate with clients to gather outstanding information and documents.
• Coordinate with lenders and BDMs regarding inquiries and approval conditions.
• Keep track of active applications, deadlines, and milestones.
• Assist with pipeline reporting and identify files that require urgent attention.
• Provide high-level technical and comprehensive Para-Broker support to minimize broker processing time.
• Extensive prior experience as a Senior Credit Analyst, Para-Broker, Mortgage Loan Processor, Credit Assessor, or in a similar role.
• Prior experience in supporting Australian mortgage brokers or lenders.
• Strong knowledge of Australian residential mortgage lending.
• Exceptional credit analysis and servicing calculation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel – essential.
• Experience in interpreting lender credit policies.
• Ability to evaluate complex client financial information.
• Experience in preparing and progressing mortgage applications.
• Keen attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active applications.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions instead of merely processing information.
• Experience with Connective Mercury / Mercury Nexus is highly preferred.
• Australian mortgage broking qualifications or relevant finance credentials are highly desirable.
• Experience in construction, investment, and refinance lending is highly desirable.
• Experience in assessing self-employed borrowers and complex income structures is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various Australian lenders and their credit policies is highly desirable.
• Prior direct engagement with lender BDMs and credit teams is highly desirable.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, lender servicing calculators, bank and lender portals, credit and loan comparison tools, and CRM/mortgage broking platforms.
